Compositing Distress #1

In this series of works, I intended to analyze my thoughts from my other professions as a visual artist and graphic designer. Both professions can be considered as survival modes because there lies a difficult situation surrounding these jobs in society: both are considered as ‘non-essential’ jobs that are less important compared to the other and considered to have no direct impact on the society itself.
The relief object on my work created by plastic mold in the shape of survival kit contents: compass, pen, knife, saw wire, etc. as a thing that can be considered to be associated with my self-development process and survival purpose which can be understood as a symbol visualization.
My techniques and methods of works are always related to my profession as a graphic designer, the urgency of innovative ideas, technical methods, & working manner is important in my field of work to pursue efficiency. The use of two words that are similar to the state of the 'survive' word indicates my attempt as a graphic designer and visual artist who prioritizes the self technical standard used from digital processes to actual applications.
