Artist statement
Dormant Volcano broadened my horizon, and opened the door to a series of ceramic pieces with altered, textured surfaces and worn Raku glazes.
It is an iconic piece of mine, and has been the opening image of my website for many years now.
I never really planned to sell it, but I think I have some new pieces to feature on the site, so it's time to move on, and make some space on my studio shelves.
