After spending so many years perfecting your techniques and forms you might reach a level of confidence and curiosity that empowers you to start tearing it all down and create deliberately imperfect pieces. I say Lava Fields proves it’s worth taking that challenge.
Wheel-thrown, altered, unglazed, raku-fired sculptural vessel. It was exhibited in the Contemporary Ceramics Biennial Angelina Alòs in Barcelona, Spain in 2018-19.
