About the art
Artist statement
My painting was inspired by the peony bushes in my garden. Snow-white petals of peonies, fluttering in the wind, with shining golden cores, reminiscent of the setting sun.. In the picture I wanted to create a feeling of serenity and silence of a warm summer evening.
Nature is the main source of my inspiration. Creating paintings, i dream of bringing harmony and beauty of nature into your home. Artworks are made in an ancient technique of wet watercolor, which traces its history back to ancient frescoes. Watercolor painting is done on a sheet of paper moistened on the reverse side and lying on a damp cloth. I use only eco-friendly and renewable materials: 100% cotton watercolor paper and professional watercolor paints. It is painted on textured watercolor paper 300 gr / m2, cotton 100%, medium grain, acid free with professional watercolor paints. All used materials are eco-friendly. Please note that colors may vary minimally depending on your monitor. Signed on front. Unframed. Eco-friendly package.
2021-October- was exhibited at the 2st international art festival "World of High Watercolors" in the gallery of classical photography.
