About the art
Artist statement
Every morning the sun rises so beautifully on my Gingko in the front yard so, I decided to paint it.
The quintessentially Iconic Gingko Tree is a living fossil and unlike any other tree and now transformed in the highly sophisticated Japanese handmade Washi paper, painted with acrylics in colors that utilize the centuries old color mixing techniques first developed by Japanese Monks to portray the "blush" of their highly venerated Cherry blossoms.
This painting is on studio canvas giving you the opportunity to match and echo your own frame that suits your room design.
The entire painting is coated with clear acrylic to protect from UVs.
