The artist does not create obvious landscapes, he suggests, allows for interpretation and free reception. This is due to his vision of nature, which we postulate as impressions. In the series of paintings of Fractal Landscapes, Jaroslaw Filipek translated his approach to form and color into very abstract compositions. The artist urges us to open the gates to the imagination. In this way, it presents us with a perverse view of the natural world, which we consider to be beautifully rich. We perceive it as a general beauty, but we pay little attention to detail. This multiplication of the simplification of natural beings is purposeful in Jaroslaw Filipek. The artist wants to draw our attention to the changeability of the landscape. Depending on the time of day, weather, season - the landscape changes. That is why we usually perceive it in a moment, we do not study in time, we do not admire the changeability of forms. We are moved by landscapes, but we do not see that they consist of a thousand moments. We generalize our gaze, while each moment is a microcosm of beauty.
