"Il miracolo" (The miracle) is a painting dedicated to the miracle of the earth's rotation that we all witness every single day. The sky opening up and transforming the landscape and the land, blazing and mutating and for a moment seeming an alien thing. This is one my classic Ascension paintings, a series of works inspired by the earth and the sky meeting and a movement upwards towards the heavens. My Ascension paintings are my most popular paintings with my collectors.
It is made in a warm pink and gold toned palette, with intense brushwork.
