About the art
Artist statement
In typography, the approach is the space found between each character. For this series, the approach is also for me a certain approach to poetry. The series Approaches marks the return after a certain absence of my practice of typography, to which I add texts, poetry. It is also a logical continuation of the wall sculptures. After following cross roads. This new series is an extension of previous works. I now use the letters in freedom of combinations to create a new writing made of cutouts, juxtapositions, reliefs and colors. A singular abstraction for the happiness of the words that it frees, frames and protects at the same time.
