About the art
Artist statement
Grey Matter was created during New York City quarantine. The sculpture has a sense of cave if your eyes go towards the center of the piece and travel below. It represents the darkness of the mental state of the world. There is light piercing through and reflecting on the metal and harch feel of the glaze. The Hope that Science will find its way to cure us. A bird high on top represents the hope for the future and the freedom we were all craving for.
