Artist statement
The Swimmer is a limited edition (of 100) print of a painting about a diving trip Lydia took to Komodo, Indonesia. As Lydia snorkelled, she watched the bubbles from the divers below rise to the surface, the colours, shapes and feeling were breathtaking. The original painting is 178cm x 178cm (three times as big) and is part of a private collection in London. The original painting was selected for the London Art Biennale 2021.
