Artist statement
This is an edition from the "human flow WALL" series with a limited edition of 6 pieces.
The individually glued veneers made of maple, cherry and mahogany wood symbolize the three levels in a person's life: body, mind and soul. It is the interaction of these three levels that makes us who we are. They have a direct effect on and within each other and are in constant interaction. If one of these levels is neglected, it always has an impact on the other two.
Only when all three levels are in harmony we can lead a fulfilled and happy life.
The surface of the sculpture is planed and left natural.
The frame is made of linden wood and has no background plate.
In addition, the frame was painted in several layers of white acrylic varnish.
All works are signed and numbered on the side of the frame.
