A Brief Glimpse of Sunshine 2 (2024) 68x98 cm
Acrylic on canvas
“A Brief Glimpse of Sunshine 2” captures a momentary yet powerful connection between light and perception, transforming fleeting warmth into lasting form. Through the interplay of vibrant colors and textured brushstrokes, this piece invites the viewer to pause and experience a distilled, yet expansive instance of sunlight—just as it reaches across the canvas and connects us to nature’s quiet, illuminating presence.
Working in acrylics allows me to build layers and depth, evoking how light can change a space, alter mood, and touch the senses in unexpected ways. The medium’s versatility mirrors the complex simplicity of sunlight itself: both are dynamic, ever-changing, and full of subtle surprises. This piece is my attempt to capture that essence, creating a space that is both intimate and boundless, inviting viewers to find their own “glimpse of sunshine.”
