“Package” captures the simple yet profound experience of receiving a delivery—a moment loaded with anticipation and curiosity as an unknown object arrives at our door. Painted in oil, this piece uses rich textures and nuanced brushstrokes to evoke the feeling of expectancy that such encounters bring into our everyday lives.
In this work, I aim to explore the unspoken exchange between the giver and receiver, a fleeting yet meaningful interaction. The use of oil allows for depth and warmth, lending a sense of intimacy to an otherwise ordinary scene. “Package” invites viewers to consider the layers of connection hidden in these everyday exchanges, bridging distance and embodying the small, surprising connections that punctuate our routines.
