Artist statement
This artwork diptych is part of the environmental Art Project "Save the Planet".
Glacial systems lose several billion tons of ice each year, and every year this figure increases. If the average temperature on Earth continues to rise, the consequences of climate change on Earth will be inevitable. Among them, melting ice sheets could lead primarily to:
rising global sea levels;
a reduction in the surface area that reflects the sun's rays;
disruption of temperature and climatic balance;
changes in habitat conditions for species.
It is not known for certain how the situation will develop further, but already now it can be called a real ecological catastrophe, which we are not yet able to solve.
This abstract painting was created in fluid art technique using acrylic paints and gold metallic enamel.
