About the art
Artist statement
Taken from the multi award-winning botanical series "Chroma".
"I chose the subjects for this joyful floral art series for their exquisite detail, delicate colour and natural symmetry. Many of the flowers were grown in our garden and others grown by a friend, just a few miles from my studio. Each of the floral portraits has one dominant hue, and I create a coloured physical background, based on a specific colour carefully selected from a petal of the individual flower, which are designed to complement each other perfectly."
A Limited Edition, museum-quality pigment ink print, created using fine-art paper and archival inks. For other sizes, please see my portfolio or contact The Artling for further details.
The size shown is of the printed image. The print comes with a white border, so offering options for framing. It can be framed with the border and signature showing. Alternatively, the framer can trim the border to produce a borderless frame, where the frame fits up to the edge of the printed image.
