About the art
Artist statement
A monochrome photographic portrait of a delicate tulip, studying its elegant form and fine texture.
International awards for this study include:
- Photographer of the Year Award and Gold Award, British Institute of Professional Photography, UK
- 2nd Place (Pro / Flowers), International Photography Awards, New York
- Silver Grenfell Award, Royal Horticultural Society, London
A framed print was also selected for display at the prestigious Summer Exhibition at London's Royal Academy of Arts, London, in 2011, and was purchased by a fine-art collector in Singapore.
This museum-quality, archival pigment ink print is made on fine-art paper, using archival inks. Other sizes are available.
The size shown is of the printed image. The print comes with a border, which gives two options for framing. The print can be framed with the border and signature showing. Alternatively, the framer can trim the border to produce a borderless frame, where the frame fits up to the edge of the printed image.
