Artist statement
There are phases in our lifetime where strife and pain dominate the goodness of our well-being. We endure emotional distress periodically, which trick our thought processes to think of the worst-case scenarios. But, there in the midst of darkness always comes a spark of understanding, which propels us to keep going. My painting reflects the meeting of darkness and light.
