About the art
Artist statement
Walking around the city of Rome filled me with so many impressions. You cannot return from Rome with straight lines and geometry in your head, because the architecture, the streets, the way of living is so baroque. In a small serious of paintings upon returning to my studio, I have tried to express these impressions. The ornaments are my most direct source of inspiration , but interpreted without strings.
