About the art
Artist statement
Nature is my source of inspiration. This painting is inspired by the cherry trees in blossom in the springtime. The flowers create a dense space blurring the view of the stems. This painting is an abstract interpretation of that impression.
The paint is added in many layers creating a sculptural surface playing with light and shadow.
The piece is new and has not been exhibited yet.
