Artist statement
Working on paper gives you other possibilities than working on canvas. The paper in itself does play an important role. In this case the paper is 300 g Schoellehammer. Also Pia Andersen mix different types of oil pastel to create depth in her works. - This series named "March" is reflecting the changes of nature in the country side of Spain where she has her studio..
The paper size is 41 x 50 cm while the artwork itself 23 x 33 cm. The work can be framed with passepartout upon wish with a black or white frame.
