Artist statement
This is the second in a series of three with inspiration from flowers.
When the mountain is covered with this yellow bush in the early springtime it gives
you a feeling of light and joy.
You may call the painting a close-up. I try to paint the sensation of the moment of
my impression. The light that filtrate, the colours, the smell, the color - and yet leave it to the
interpretation to the spectator .
