About the art
Artist statement
The south western coast of Spain is absolutely stunning and full of high contrasts and contradictions. You can feel the pull of time.
The land is extremely dry now and the beauty and resilience of the equisetic plants is inspiring.
This was my trip out of the UK in decades: it was intense and fabulous and I made this as soon as I got back to my studio.
This sculpture has three sections that you can turn and rearrange to change the way light plays through the form.
All 3 sections would be safely packed together and shipped in a padded, reinforced box or crate.
