Artist statement
"Puzzle Pieces" is a mixed-media and collage work on paper from spring 2019 that was inspired by my love of varied media like paint, ink, pastel, and collage. The color palette is a direct response to the greens and blues of spring: new grass, leaves and blue skies. In terms of gesture, process and experimentation, I loved making this piece.
