Artist statement
'Are there really flowers on Mars? M1' is an experimental photographic artwork that is presented on brilliant matte fine art paper (44x64cm) and limited to only 1 unique work! This series is about the fragile relationship between nature and technology, in which we try to find solutions for a better world. It is also a work with a strong statement to raise awareness for global warming and the destructive behavior of mankind. We need to make sure to recover the balance on our planet, otherwise, it will change into a place like Mars. Most of my printing work I print on demand, to make sure not to waste precious raw materials.
If you think the ocean isn't important, imagine Earth without it. Mars comes to mind. No ocean, no life support system.
