Artist statement
If you ever drag a stick through a puddle, you will notice multiple layers coming to life. Each with a story to tell, each with a shade to share. This work attempts something similar. There is an interplay of colors and marks in layer upon layer. These layers try to sneak through the ones above them, trying to tell their own stories.
