About the art
Artist statement
This work explores colors, their interrelationship, and their transformative effect on human emotions. Multiple thin layers of paint put on with a lot of thought illustrate calmness and self-love, and inspire us to spend a moment with ourselves. The color palette is inspired by the traditional shades used in Indian homespun textile, taking me back to some great memories growing up.
