Artist statement
It looks like a destroyed wall. For me, walls, are like boards of remembrance, they contain everything from information, posters, dirt, or just some scratches from use. They are created and destroyed by nature, time or us (humans) and are like proof of our times, witnesses of time.
Made of many layers of plaster and concrete, paint and photographs on canvas. Made by my unique technique of layering plaster, concrete, choosing materials and destroying. It is made on canvas and stretched to frame. It has its own weight, but not so much. They can be comfortably hung on a wall.
I call them destructive expressionism paintings.
