Artist statement
In appreciation of their dedication and sacrifice, frontliners around the world have been working hard to curb the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak. This is a pure noble calling of serving in the healthcare profession.
We cannot imagine how difficult it must be for them to be separated from their loved ones, dealing with deaths in the hospitals/clinics, and surrounded by negativity.
There is a Malay proverb “Berat mata memandang, berat lagi bahu memikul” means that the burden borne by a person suffering from pain or distress is greater than that of others who see it.
Everyone is trying hard and doing their fullest.
They did it for us. Say yes to stay home and stay
