About the art
Artist statement
Sakura is a Japanese term for Cherry blossom trees; that is known to be a symbolic flower of a spring, a time of renewal and rebirth and the fleeting nature of life. Cherry Blossom trees are considered a symbol of good luck, love, and springtime in Japan. Since these alluring flowers bloom for a concise period (a couple of weeks only), they truly represent human mortality and make us realize the value of human life. The artwork/photo is sold unframed (only the art print) and will be sent in a hard tube.
The photo is printed with 2 cm white border each side, which makes it easy for putting in frame. Comes with signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity, and artist signature at the back of the photo.
