11 Artworks to Uplift Your Work-From-Home Experience

String E by Turning Torso

Having art is a great way to keep you inspired and to personalize your space into your own. Whether you are working at the office or at home, having art displayed in your field of vision while working can affect your mood, spark creativity and help you relax. Colors play a huge role in our moods, having bright and lively colors can enhance our energy and positivity while darker shades tend to evoke our emotions.

Take a look at the artworks that The Artling team has put together to uplift your work-from-home experience!

infinity 10 by Jochim Lichtenberger shows how very rarely are there moments by the sea that exude a special magic. Not a breath of wind ripples the surface of the water, not even the gentlest wave rolls in from a distance, no ship and no bird move the water. Then the sea becomes a perfect mirror. On the horizon, the sky and its reflection are of the same brightness and color. The sky and the sea merge. An impression of infinite space is created

Fomr II by Alessio Lucarini is part of his 'abstract' series and  is a paper fine art phototography printed on Hahnemühle Baryta paper.

Remains of the Day by Kimberly Poppe is the remains of the day over Wallace Lake, Australia. "Remains of the Day" is part of Kimberly Poppe's "Eventide" series (noun, archaic literary: the end of the day; evening).
With Eventides, Poppe takes us to the edge, the boundary between the sea and sky, the land and water, and the day and evening. These abstract landscapes hum and slide between clarity and abstraction, leaving us on the brink of fluid twilight.

Blue Asters by Olga Bezhina is a painting of a large bush with asters around a bee and nature on a sunny autumn day. Large strokes form a convex, complex texture, where each element is placed thoughtfully, verified, like pieces of colored mosaic smalt. Each element of the painting creates a complex surface with iridescent, pure color – this is the most important component of Olga's concept.

Chrysalis No. 348 by Cat Tesla is part of Tesla’s Chrysalis Series. Cat Tesla creates large scale paintings exploring the abstraction of nature. Tesla begins with an automatic drawing in graphite, translucent layers are applied, followed by more mark making & more layers. Recurring organic motifs lead the viewer to explore and discover. Cat Tesla uses various mediums to build up the surface, exploring spontaneous mark making and subtle forms. The resulting smaller paintings are windows looking outward, while the larger paintings are abstract nature-scapes you can walk right into.

Yellow Lilies by Diana Malivani is part of her 'Flowers, Trees & Garden' collection. For the Artist, flowers represent an inexhaustible source of inspiration. A principal goal of artists depicting flowers is to convey the aroma of a painted flower, its unique 'soul'. Diana Malivani believes that flowers 'grown on canvas' should awaken in the human soul a sense of beauty, an awareness of the unity of all things hidden from us by time.

Sweet Sunshine by Tran Tuan was created with the inspiration of the feeling about the sweet beauty of autumn sunshine. It is not as strong or fiery as the summer sun, but it spreads a sweet golden glow over the groves. It gently glides over flowers, grass, and tender red foliage. It glistens lightly yellow under the cool autumnal blue sky. It is the great sunshine in the human soul.

Sunshine Of My Life by Paresh Nrshinga believes that colour is what creates beauty and energy, evokes emotions and involves feelings. He has always been fascinated with colour and shape. Combining the two together will give unlimited possibilities of creating art and for him, painting goes ddeper than putting the two together. It starts with emotions and feelings and it then 'spills' onto the canvas. Some of his paintings were done when his inner emotions takes over whereas the others are journeys that would even surprise himself. He expresses the way he sees the world through his paintings and connects with the viewer on an emotional level where he hopes to capture the moment onto the canvas.

September 21, 2021 by Grace Jihyeon Lee believes everyone pursues happiness and we all have different definitions for it. Happiness comes from inner peace rather than extreme joy. Whether rain is liked or not, it has a tendency to bring calm to those who listens to the sound of rain. In her series of rain paintings, she does one painting on every rainy day where she focuses on delivering peacefulness by capturing the amount of rain, humidity, atmosphere, and emotion of the day.

Deux Pigeons by Mercedes Aparicio a Spanish artist born in 1953 who lives and works between Zurich, Switzerland & Santander, Spain. She exhibited mainly in Switzerland & Spain. Her artworks belong to many public collections in Spain as Mairie de Suances Museum in Cantabria, Casas de Aguila y la Parra Museum in Santillina del Mar, Cantabria & Casa de Cantabria in Madrid.

The Fall of Phaeton (again) by Raquel Da Silva is a response to Peter Rubens original painting The Fall of Phaeton, depicting Zeus striking down his son Phaeton, scorching the earth and creating the Sahara desert. The conversation between the two pieces explores how humanity copes with the looming specter of death, destruction and the dawn of a new age.
