This exhibition restages part of the exhibition Zone of Urgency curated by Hou Hanru for the 2003 Venice Biennale. The works in the show, acquired and donated by art collector Guan Yi to M+, Hong Kong, explores the impact of rapid globalisation and urbanisation in China's Pearl River Delta in the 1990s.
