The humble LEAF, from the simple shapes of some to the complex web of veins in others – has captivated artists and designers, for centuries. This beautiful fiber art titled "Parna" features leaf (resembling source of energy) whereby thousands of cotton strands are meticulously hand-knotted with labour intensive combing process and suspended on backing to create an textural oasis. This artwork is associated with the concepts of ' all natural and organic', which is comforting and nurturing whereby, the leaf depicts the growth and fertility. It brings a certain calming effect, helping to create an inviting and relaxing space while simultaneously adding interest and personality.
