Artist statement
Engraved patterns result from observing natural structures. Structures of bird nests, spider’s webs or clusters of sea-grass, grass-blades, stalks or straw drifting on water or wind. Through this engravings we can flow into this micro-world and dive into its depths.
Nest Plate is made of clear fused glass. Surface of the plate is covered with organic pattern made by hand engraving process do to each piece is unique. There are no two identical plates of this kind.
