The Powell mirror smoothly reimagines the majestic beauty of the awe-inspiring Reflection Canyon, a remote and magnificent cliff formation in Utah, USA.
Crafted from wavy layers of noble materials such as marble, brass and bronze mirror, echoing the sandy hues of the sandstone formation, Powell’s undulating forms authentically recreate the untamed wilderness of this hidden treasure, taking us on a long journey through the serpentine cliffs.
The Powell mirror now joins the Arizona mirror and the Navajo Canyon cabinet, other pieces in the Beyond Memory Collection, collectively reflecting Joana Santos Barbosa’s genuine fascination with the breathtaking landscapes found in the remarkable Lands of the Navajo Nation.
