About the art
As seen in
Artist statement
This yew hollowform/ vessel is turned by hand on the lathe. It is made from a yew tree which was cut off due to construction work, and i saved it from being used as fire wood.
It has a natural edge, that is the bark of the tree / log so to speak. It has a nive grain and color. It is slightly larger than the other piece listed here.
The base is signed with my logo KK and the piece number #482 and the word Eibe which is Yew in German language.
