Artist statement
Inspired by the greyhound (galgo) dog breed, Galgo is an elegant and unique piece created with poetic license. As much sculpture as item of furniture it is unashamedly attention grabbing and a focal point in any environment. Minimalist with hand-cut joints and features in brass such as the door and drawer handles and the legs which enable them to be pencil thin.
