Artist statement
HEX 600 Pedestal Table is an expression of functionalism and versatility. Material selection is inspired by the function and started with the following question: how to make one pole stand vertically?
Low-tech principles and ready-to-assemble concepts are the core of our design. We source materials, and labour that are available locally. The design is flexible and can be adapted to geographical or economical context.
HEX 600 Pedestal Table is born in the urban context of Bangkok with its scattering local material suppliers, milling machines and acrylic shops.
Stainless steel version is appropriate for both indoor and outdoor use.
The table is made-to-order and doesn't include any stool. Production time is up to 8 weeks.
