Artist statement
TAFLA IQ– the simplest, the most slender version of the TAFLA series metallic mirrors. It is like a mirror, but with the effect of artistic deformation of the reflected reality. It is minimalist and will be a perfect addition to a contemporary stylish interior.
TAFLA IQ can be hung on a wall and leaned against it. It owes such diversity of use to the material used to manufacture it – steel which is durable and light. The pure, timeless shape of a vertical rectangle gives the TAFLA IQ mirror an infinite number of possible arrangements.
During Milan Design Week 2019 at Salone del Mobile, Oskar Zieta presented the TAFLA IQ that celebrates geometric simplicity and respect for proportions. The tall and narrow shape allows implementing it into most demanding interiors and arranging both as a single mirror or multi-element set, creating a marvellous way of filling space.
