Artist statement
Silva collection finds sexuality in shapes and human bodies. The pieces that compose this collection are designed to evoke erotic sensations through usual and tactile journeys that spring from intimate emotions.
Floro is inspired by the similarities between the shape of the clitoris and the glans to make us reflect on our bodies and exalt the relationships between identities.
Silva collection was created using 3D casted molds blended with decades of craftsmanship experience from Mexico City artisans.
Each piece is made and finished by hand, they are all unique in their small imperfections as part of the artisanal process.
Floro sometimes has a beautiful green hue thanks to the copper added to the composition of the glazing.
