Candleholder from the project Mould
The project is a process lead investigation that explores subtle interventions into mould making aiming to extend its active life. The aim is to raise awareness about the material world around us, the making of objects, their origin and value. Moulds for four pieces were made: tray, candleholder, bookend & bowl.
This candleholder is therefore the cast object from one of the moulds and fits a tealight or it can hold jewellery, paperclips or other small items.
Material: Jesmonite
Colour: Pumpkin
