Tango

Lamp, architecture, sculpture TANGO is all three. The sculptural lighting series is a hybrid of industrial design and art — a collaboration between design and architecture.

It represents the story of two individuals’ passion and drive for creation. it’s improvised movements and dynamically synced directions mimic a dance of design –specifically, the TANGO.

Stairs wrapping around, vertical arch openings architectural forms expressed as sculptural elements two creators common affinity of spatial expression, the story is human figures and animal figures dynamically dances around the arches, it is a metaphor of freedom expressed in creators own interpretation.

Architectural form and visual expression
Without lights the shape simply looks like a building in a space, but when the light is on all the arch openings projects and fills up the space and it gives a feeling as if you are in the building itself.

TANGO is made from wood and hand treated /assembled. Every product has unique wood patterns. (stained poplar plywood, matte finish)
