Artist statement
This Bark Vessel belongs to my FroZen collection that is inspired by Armenian winter landscape and Japanese approach to aesthetics. The pieces' texture and lines reference the ripples on frozen ripples of Sevan lake.
The work is produced from a combination of wheel-throwing and hand building. Electric-fired earthenware, white glaze.
