The company name “Sodd” is came from the combination of the founder Seral’s capital “S” and the word “odd”. Because we love and embrace the use of unusual forms and colors, Sodd fully reflects us. Sodd Design customers are people who love their freedom, who love to use bright colors bravely in their daily lives, who are related to art, who respect animals and nature, who believe in the positive energy that nature adds to their spirit. Many different forms and colors that our customers want to see in their homes and that we think will add color and vitality to their lives are designed with the vision of Sodd Design and meet their customers.

Courage, fun and colors are the main themes of my work. Memphis, contrarian and bold movement of its time inspired me while creating my collections. Sodd Design art objects which reflect a design language that reminds us of our fun, humorous and childlike side, will cheer you up when you're down, amuse when you're bored and relieve your stress.

Question IconDescribe your creative process.

When designing a product, I first identify a function and problems based on that function. Then I basically create scenarios on how to solve these problems and create design experiments that combine function with form. Production drawings, materials and techniques are determined through the clarified design. In general, I like to use amorphous forms and sculptural structures in designs.
