I create with the motivation to challenge the notion that coniferous wood is an unsuitable material for furniture, and aim to provide a different perspective to wood furniture with novel designs. I offer creations tailored to each customer–from versatile furniture that fit into different spaces, to site-specific pieces.

'Free form lamination' is a unique technique that produces curved wood. This technique is only possible with wood of Yoshino quality - long with minimal knots, fine annual rings, uniform grain, colour and shine. It was developed for the purpose of utilising and bringing out the characteristics of Yoshino cedar at its fullest potential.
