Question Icon What inspires you?

There is no special template to a Volver rug. Our collaborator artists never get a design brief. We deep div into their creative universe and work throug an open explorativ dialoque to translate the original artistic idea to a final rug. We also work closely with technicians and craftspeople to make the rug as close to the artistic idea as possible

Question Icon Describe your creative process.

Each process is unique. It is always a dialogue, at times reflective, at times provocative, and at times pure intuition. We explore each creative universe, and it is our task to bring them out to the new audience, give them an enhanced platform. We never compromise the artistic idea and balance our business on the edge between the commercial and cultural.

Question Icon Who are some artists that have influenced your work?

For Volver design starts with a mindset, the exploration of a mind. It is a source of explorations, surprises, insights and has no boundaries. It is free to discover the unexpected themes and feed voracious curiosity for the boundless creativity. We are free to take on any subject at the studio, Anthropocene, urbanism, the theory of color, history, human condition, ecology… Each new theme is revealed to the audience in its full authenticity and hopefully provokes a thought, response and emotion.

The rugs are handtufted and hand woven in natural materials.
