Artist statement
Juicy ripe pomegranates in the sun on silk fabric became the center of the plot of the picture. The sun, gliding over the rough skin of pomegranates in places, passes through the scarlet ripe grains. In the picture I would like to convey the joy of contemplating ripe fruits, an atmosphere filled with sunshine, light and serenity. Nature is the main source of my inspiration. Creating paintings, i dream of bringing harmony and beauty of nature into your home. Artwork is made in an ancient technique of wet watercolor, which traces its history back to ancient frescoes.
2020-December-took part in the International watercolor exhibition "We are together" at the IWS Sare Gallery Moscow, Russia.
Print of a watercolor painting is done on a sheet of paper moistened on the reverse side and lying on a damp cloth. I use only eco-friendly and renewable materials: 100% cotton watercolor paper and professional watercolor paints. It is painted on textured watercolor paper 300 gr / m2, cotton 100%, medium grain, acid free with professional watercolor paints. All used materials are eco-friendly. Please note that colors may vary minimally depending on your monitor. Signed on front. Unframed. Eco-friendly package.
