Artist statement
Widely know as a weed. I see the downy tufts of the dandelion, that blow away in the wind, as a way to create an image out of natures survival. This image in a single form was a plant that was covered on dew. Almost teased in appearance. Adding life with colors and a soft background highlights its ability to create a dramatic image out of simplicity.
