What inspires you?
My pleasant surprise in my own development within the creative process
Describe your creative process.
I develop ideas in my head and in my sketch book. I translate those ideas to an 7.5" X 2.5" X 8' slab of Cedar. I cut, file, drill, and shape the slab into the configuration I envisioned. I generally finish the piece with a steel impregnated paint that appears to look exactly like rusted steel once the 3 step application process is completed. The base is created to capture the 18* extension at the bottom of the piece.
