''Carnikava.Summer I''

Nature is my source of inspiration. Watching its ever-changing images gives me a deep sense of beauty. My family spends summer at the sea, in a place called Carnikava. The sea inspired me to create a series of abstract works. In this abstract landscape the coloring is restrained, calm colors dominate. White, light gray, gray and pink colors create a feeling of comfort and relaxation. I used different textures and layers of paint and a ballpoint pen to make the surface of the painting rich.

Original acrylic and mixed media artwork on linen canvas. Painted on gallery stretched canvas. Edges are in natural gray color.
The canvas is varnished, ready to hang, delivered with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
