TURQUOISE | JEAN-LÉON GÉRÔME | 2021
Here, forever, the truth of blue prevails.
This is far more than a depiction of an oriental bathing room.
It is a spa for our scattered senses.
An aura of blued tiles surrounds the space. The carved stone sink echos the soft sound of flowing water. Arabic lettering graces the wall. A tangerine sash contrasts in perfect harmony.
We allow ourselves to calmly float away. To relax. To breathe deeply.
To be rejuvenated by the true blue of Turquoise.
